Makeup Week: August 2nd - August 8th

 

Payment is due prior to the makeup week lesson,

to insure your place in the next session.

We offer both group and private lessons for children and adults.

Private 15 minute lessons; children 18 Months to 3 Years old.

Private 30 minute lessons; Ages 10 to Adult.

Group Lessons - 30 minutes; Children age 3 and over.

 
   
Lessons are offered on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, all day Saturday, and on Sundays.

Opihi- Beginner 1  

  • First time in lessons
  • Not comfortable in the water
  • Afraid

Honu- Beginner 2

  • Able to blow bubbles
  • May be able to put face in water
  • Is willing to swim with instructor
 

Humu- Beginner 3

  • Puts face in water
  • Swim unassisted 5 meters
  • Able to float on back
  • Elementary backstroke
  • Some freestyle
  • Knows basic water safety
  • Can yell for help, knows what someone in danger looks like

 

Ahi- Intermediate 1

  • Able to swim 15 meters unassisted freestyle
  • Backstroke
  • Beginning Breaststroke
  • Can dive to bottom of pool
  • Water Safety
  • When someone needs help, what do you do?

 

Mahi- Intermediate 2

  • Able to swim 25 meters unassisted, freestyle and backstroke
  • Coordinated breastroke
  • Tread water for 30 seconds

 

Na Nai’a- Advanced

  • Has mastered freestyle, backstroke and breastroke
  • Beginning butterfly
  • Able to swim 50 meters continuous unassisted (pool length
  • Tread water for 1 minute
