MAKING THE MOST OF YOUR WORKOUT CLINIC
On Tuesday, September 7th, we welcome all Oahu Club members to participate
in our popular “Make The Most Of Your Swimming Workout” clinic
from 6:30 - 7:30 PM.
Please join us if you would like to learn several new
swimming drills that could help make your swimming experience
more relaxing and efficient.
FALL 2010 SWIM CLINIC SCHEDULE
The Swim Clinic format scheduled for Thursday,
September 23, will have a new format and name:
It will be
the “Introduction to Fitness Swimming”.
This new clinic format
will run from 7:30-8:30PM during the evening workout
with extra practice until 8:45PM.
This new clinic format is
designed to assist swimmers with basic freestyle efficiency
mechanics in addition to sharing the insights and benefits
of swimming with a group while enjoying the process
of continuous improvement.
Topics covered in addition to
stroke efficiency include pacing and using the pace clock,
lane etiquette, how to interpret coaching instructions, and
when to rest and much more! This new format will be the
beginning of a new experience that will provide life long
fun and fitness through swimming.
This new “Introduction
to Fitness Swimming” will be scheduled again on October
21, and November 18.
Seven additional Fitness
Swimming workouts are included to assist in your
progress.
We look forward to offering this new format! See you in the pool!

The cost is $60 or $35
for Oahu Club members.
