Member Appreciation Mixed Doubles Round Robin Sunday, August 15th from 10:00am – 12:00pm. You do not need to have a partner to sign up. The event is complimentary and available to full and tennis members. To register please go to the pro shop. It will be limited to the first 24 participants.


Oahu Club vs. La Quinta Tennis Club Challenge December 2 – 5 Attention members! Who is ready to travel to the Palm Desert. We have been invited to travel to the La Quinta Resort to have a club challenge against the La Quinta Resort Tennis Club December 2 - 5. We are looking for people rated 3.0 – 4.0. The travel package includes lodging, a clinic with legendary Davis Cup Coach Tom Gorman and staff, club challenge on three different surfaces, lunch, tour and hit around at the Indian Wells Tennis Center, and an awards dinner. USTA Senior Mixed League Registration - Registration for the USTA senior mixed league has started and will continue up to the deadline of September 11. You do have to be 50+ years to qualify. If interested please contact Elaine Curcio at playtennis@theoahuclub.com


Ekolu League Team Registration - Attention team captains, Ekolu league USTA registration started June 12 and will continue through July and August with player registration ending August 13. Please fill out the Oahu Club team captains form as the first step in registering your team. You may contact Elaine at playtennis@theoahuclub.com to obtain the team captain form.

Athlete Injured - One of our own KSC swimmers was recently severely injured following the 2010 Oceania Swimming Championships in Western Samoa representing Team Hawaii and the United States.

Congratulations KSC!!! Our very own KSC age group swim team recently won the 2010 Long Course State Championships. The victory is the teams 16th straight State Title. KSC swimmers broke 5 Hawaii State Records en route to an 1100 point victory.

General


Warning! The equipment on the fitness floor is for classes only and it is unsafe to have children using or climbing on the equipment close to edge where they can knock things down into the weight-room and hurt someone or fall over themselves. We have fun items such as balls, Frisbees, and things that you can check out in the pro-shop for your keiki to play with.


Also, children under the age of 6 are not allowed in the Jacuzzi under any circumstance (even with adults). Children ages 6 -14 must be with an adult – no exception.

That does not count social networking, or “game” time.
